## 1. Introduction
GioKB ("GioKB," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
It applies to our website at giokb.com, our products and services, and our SMS text messaging program (together, the "Services"). By using the Services or opting in to text messages, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

## 2. Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly, information collected automatically when you use the Services, and information from third parties.
**Information you provide**
- Contact details such as name, email address, mailing address, and mobile phone number
- Account credentials and profile information
- Payment and billing information (processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers)
- Messages, support requests, survey responses, and other content you submit
- Your consent to receive SMS text messages, including the phone number you opt in with and the date, time, and method of opt-in
**Information collected automatically**
- Device and browser information, IP address, operating system, and approximate location derived from IP
- Usage data such as pages viewed, features used, links clicked, and timestamps
- Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6)
**Information from third parties**
- Business partners, resellers, and integration providers you connect to the Services
- Publicly available sources and data providers, where permitted by law
## 3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services
- Create and manage your account and process transactions
- Send service-related communications such as confirmations, security alerts, and support responses
- Send SMS text messages you have opted in to receive (see Section 4)
- Send marketing communications where you have consented or where permitted by law, with an opt-out in every message
- Personalize your experience and understand how the Services are used
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, and other harmful activity
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
We do not sell your personal information.
## 4. SMS text messaging program
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS text messages from GioKB at that number. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
**Program description.** GioKB may send you SMS messages if you opt-in, for updates to your project. Message frequency varies based entirely on the information you request while your project is in process.
**Message and data rates may apply.** Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply to any messages you send or receive. Contact your carrier for details about your plan.
**How to opt out.** You can cancel at any time by replying **STOP** to any message from us. After you send STOP, we will send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up again as you did the first time and we will start sending messages to you again.
**How to get help.** Reply **HELP** to any message for assistance, or contact us at hi@giokb.com
**Carriers.** Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on the availability of your carrier network and device.
**Privacy of your mobile information.** We will not share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. See Section 5 for how we share information.
**Age requirement.** You must be 18 years of age or older to participate in the SMS program.
**Changes to your number.** If you change or deactivate your mobile number, you agree to notify us at hi@giokb.com so we can update our records.
## 5. How we share information
We share personal information only as described below.
- **Service providers.** Vendors that help us operate the Services, such as hosting, analytics, payment processing, customer support, and SMS delivery platforms. They may use your information only to perform services for us.
- **Business transfers.** In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, your information may be transferred to the successor entity.
- **Legal and safety.** When required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of GioKB, our users, or others.
- **With your consent.** For any other purpose you direct or agree to.
**No sharing of mobile information for marketing.** No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We may share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
## 6. Cookies and tracking technologies
We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, measure how the Services are used, and support marketing. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings; doing so may limit some features of the Services.
We use analytics providers such as Google Analytics that may collect usage data across websites.
## 7. Data retention and security
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. SMS opt-in and opt-out records are retained for at least 4 years to document consent, as recommended for compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and logging. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
## 8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
- **SMS messages:** reply STOP to any message to opt out (see Section 4).
- **Marketing email:** use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. You will still receive transactional and service messages.
- **Cookies:** adjust your browser settings (see Section 6).
